Our staff has diverse backgrounds, strengths and philosophies which
combine to form a team of creative professionals.
Gary Gulbrandson has worked with children for over thirty
years in a variety of positions and programs. He has served
for over 17 years as the Executive Director of Arlington House.
Because of his strong belief that all children deserve countless
chances to succeed, Arlington House works with all children
to build the skills that will help them achieve. He is also a
certified chemical dependency counselor.
Tiffany Allbee has worked at Arlington House Shelter for ten
years in a variety of capacities including child care counselor,
shift supervisor, abused child advocate and most recently,
program director. She enjoys the time she spends with young
people in our care and has grown to appreciate their tenacity
and survival skills. Tiffany’s background in applied psychology
has helped her develop practical techniques that children can adopt to
meet life’s challenges successfully.
Maureen McFarland MSSW, LISW has worked with children and
their families for the past 13 years in a variety of settings including
community outreach, family therapy and adoption. In
addition to ongoing family counseling, she provides individual
counseling to address family concerns, past issues of abuse,

pregnancy and self-harming behaviors. Working closely with County social
workers, she advocates for children when they are in need of services.
Maureen is dedicated to working with her clients to develop the confidence
and behaviors needed for positive change.
